KH Mas Mansyur never gave us a good advice: "Let the religious schools of the actual (pure) were spread as wide as possible, tested and compared, so that we understand and ensure that Islam is the most correct, lightweight and useful, to feel good precedence of religious practice it ".

Deviation
Advice is then determined to be one of the 12 Steps of Muhammadiyah. Meaning, the Islamic religion does not bind to understand the followers-followers to simply understand the problem in a single religion, both in terms of worship and muamalah duniawiyah. There are various hadith and a variety of approaches in deciding
matters of fiqh, so it may be narrowed only be one kind of religious path.
One Qa'idah usul fiqh mention that Islamic laws can vary with the person given the circumstances. Therefore, should the religion is not just one approach being considered, but also another approach to in-Legal Affairs Committee and its legal position was decided in order to apply for the people.
Another lesson, we are not being promoted to school fanatic or fanatical worshipers, but make it all as a source of diversity in the Islamic heritage that enrich each other. This is what is meant by KH Mas Mansyur as "broaden understanding of the religion".
In contrast is a very necessary thing in this life. God has outlined in His word in surah Al-Hujurat: 13, "O mankind! We created you from male and female, and We have made you a variety of tribes and nations, so that you get to know-kenala. Semulia Lo-noble you in the sight of Allah is he who is more pious among you ".
From the verse, it is clear that differences among human beings is nature. However, the differences in the matter of religion should not be a protracted conflict. Prophet has ordered us to return to the Qur'an and Sunnah when disagreements in religion.
That is why a Muslim is not allowed to take only opinion.
Truth is opinion must be tested and compared to its
fullest. Compared with what is truth? Of the above two
things: the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Legal Affairs Committee
Hence there is no known mechanism Legal Affairs
Committee, namely to compare all sorts of opinions by
looking at the arguments that can be formulated a law
that really rajih and according to the source, namely the
Qur'an and Sunnah.
In understanding fiqh course, there are various schools
that developed in Islam. The existence of differences in
many schools due to differences in deciding upon the
methodology istinbath fiqh. In one case, there could be a
judge makruh schools, but there are other schools that
actually break the Sunnah.
For example, in the understanding of Shawwal fasting,
Imam Malik ibn Anas menghukuminya with makruh. He
reasoned that the fasts of Shawwal was not done by an
expert of his day and age medina before. And on that
basis' charity experts as the basis of air-madina
istinbath.
However, it states that Imam Shafi'i mu'akkad Sunnah.
Relying on the hadith "man shaama ramadhaana Thumma
atba'ahu sittan min Shawwal faka'annama kashiyamid
dahri". Whoever fasted Ramadan, accompanied by six days
of Shawwal is as if he fasted throughout the year
(Narrated by Muslim).
Another example, touching the women. Imam Shafi'i
interpreted the verse An-Nisa: 43 (aw laa mastumun-Nisa
') in letterlijk, namely physical contact, so that in the
opinion Syafi'iyah contact with women (inadvertently) the
law null and void. However, it is not the case with Imam
Ahmad. He interpreted the "touch" is a lughawi with the
word "sex", thus inadvertently touched the woman does not
invalidate the ablution.
Of course, two opinions relied on the methodology of law
-making that clear. It is precisely at this point that
people must choose. Which of these two opinions that can
really be used. This is called the Legal Affairs
Committee. And the procedure used to be scientific.
I think this road is better than using only one kind of
approach and blame others. Using one approach alone is
not a problem, but which is fatal if blaming others. This
is counterproductive to the spirit of Islam is raised.
The scholars ushuliyyin has given a rule in determining
usul fiqh. Al-Fil Ashlu Worship Tahrim lit, hatta dalla
lijawaziha Ad-proof. Wal Ashlu fil muamalati lilibahati
hatta dalla Ad-lit tahrimiha propositions. The legal
origin of the worship is unlawful, unless there are
propositions that allow it. And the legal origin of
muamalah is allowed, unless there is proof that
mengharamkannya.
Therefore, differences in Islam should not be addressed
with slander or insults in the mosques. Differences in
Islam, it should not be a material conflict. Often
problems arise from one congregation to another
congregation, one organization with another organization,
etc., simply because of different views in some way.
In contrast, the difference is a tool to unlock the truth
more openly, in order to understand our religion can be
extended as widely as possible without looking at the
identity of another person's pilgrims. Included also in
matters muamalah duniawiyah, one political.
'Intiqad
Another advice is promoted by KH Mas Mansyur is
menuntunkan practice 'intiqad or self-correction. Self-
correction is done in a variety of social and charitable
deeds, so as not to feel smug and self-righteous in
performing religious duties.
According to KH Mas Mansyur, all the effort and work we
should always be repaired with its own investigation.
Collectively, the fruit of the investigation and repairs
that must dimusyawaratkan basis and keep madlarat bring
serious benefits.
That is, all sorts of decisions made, especially in
matters muamalah duniawiyah, is not final and could still
be reviewed if there are mistakes or changes. This is
especially seen in social issues, namely to do with self
-corrections of ijtihad are taken.
Rule usul mengaktakan that religion dharara wa laa laa
dhiraar. And avoid the harm that takes precedence over
seeking mashlahah. That is, the determination of law
should look at his element mafsadatdan serious benefits
for the people to Muamalah case.
'Intiqad actually closely related to the first premise
above, namely to expand understanding of the religion.
Attitudes to expand religious understanding by looking at
the sources of truth openly to be followed by the
attitude of 'intiqad, which means there are fanatics on
one opinion that is considered correct.
Attitude 'means reflective intiqad; truth is not on
ourselves and not attributed to a particular group, but
on God. That is, the attitude of 'intiqad will keep us
from truth claims are exaggerated.
With a transformative way of thinking, 'intiqad also be
interpreted as an attitude tawadhu' dantasamuh to fellow
Muslims. Truths which are believed not to make us push
the truth to other Muslims, because after all the truth
must get continuous evaluation. Indeed, the truth compels
us to mendialogkannya with others so that different
opinions can be analyzed.
If there is any mistake, God has commanded in the An-
Naml: 125 to argue with a good way (wa bil-latii
jaadilhum hiya ahsan). Thus, expanding the understanding
of the religion to be followed by 'intiqad order to
produce personal fellow Muslims who are tolerant of
Muslims, and avoid unnecessary divisions.
Ramadan
So, Ramadan can be a momentum for us to do two things.
First, Ramadan encourages us to constantly expand the
understanding of the religion that does not stop to
stagnate in one opinion / approach, but continued to dig
up the deepest source of religion. In the month of
Ramadan, we were told to "read" verses of the Qur'an and
"read" the sources of religious truth so we can
understand extended.
Second, Ramadan also encourages us to continue to correct
our actions, including the truth of what we believe.
There is a dialectical process that is taught to get
these truths to be relevant and can be applied by the
people. In the month of Ramadan, we are encouraged
untuki'tikaf, that one dimension is the self-evaluation
and evaluation of social praxis that can be improved
continuously.
Thus, the religious behavior of the resulting post-
Ramadan is expected behavior is a tolerant religion but
full of truth values. Therefore, Ramadan is a month of
training for it. Let's expand the understanding of the
religion and let menuntunkan charity 'intiqad, as
diwasiatkan by KH Mas Mansyur, our teachers first.
FII billahi sabilil haq.
